Statistics show that children with mentors demonstrate solid improvements.

This is especially noticeable in the areas of academic performance. Also, children are less likely to be involved with gangs, violence, teen pregnancy, alcohol, and drug use.

In the state of Florida, 30% of all 9th graders will ultimately not finish school.

However, statistics show that mentored children are 99% less likely to drop out.


National studies show that mentored young people between the ages of 15 and 20 are: 


46% less likely to begin using illegal drugs 


48% more likely to improve their grades 


27% less likely to begin using alcohol 


52% less likely to skip class 


99% less likely to drop out of school
